The kid rides an atv.

We have seen the kid ride the atv around f or weeks now. We just can not believe that his parents do not have him wearing an atv helmet! The kid does not just ride his atv down the street but he rides in the trails also. The chances of crashing are huge. We are considering contacting the authorities about the kid not having on an atv helmet when riding. When we asked the parents about it they just say when I was a kid I did not wear a helmet when riding the atv. I guess they were lucky. I do not understand why you would take the chance with your kid and not make them wear a helmet when they ride the atv.
