Thank goodness the kid had his helmet on when he crashed the atv.

When the kid got up from the atv crash the first thing he did was remove his helmet. We could not believe that the atv helmet the kid was wearing was cracked. I kid finally realized why we required him to wear the atv helmet. The atv helmet was not only cracked but there were parts laying all around. The knew the cost to replace the atv parts and helmet would be high but I was just glad that the kid was okay as well. The kid is hoping to have the parts and helmet replace f or the atv by next month for the contest.
