My kid wants an atv but I can not see spending that much money on something he will grow out of.  An atv f or a kid is a smaller size so they can only ride it until they get bigger.  So I would consider getting my kid an atv if it was cheap.  I am going to look into a used atv for him and will get it if it is cheap enough.  I also need to keep in mind that if I get my kid an atv there will be more costs that go with it also.
