My wife just does not agree that our kid should have an atv.  I have tried to explain to her that I would not get a cheap atv for the kid.  The atv would be safe for the kid.  Of course we would have all of the protective gear also.  This would also help to keep the kid safe on the atv.  There are many different models for a kid looking for an atv.   I am a firm believer that you get what you pay for so it will not be a cheap atv.
